Hi all!

I am representing the downtown retailers on the committee that is
working on updating Warner's 5-year-old hazard mitigation plan. A
question came up at our last meeting as to if the downtown shops had any
sort of disaster mitigation/recovery plan in place and/or if they would,
in any way, be involved in a recovery process. An example that was
given was a town in which the downtown shops donated different items
(i.e. blankets, canned goods, etc.) to displaced families or aid to
businesses in trouble.

Soooo, if anyone has a disaster plan they would like to share or any
thoughts about setting up some sort of recovery aid process that the
retailers could be involved in, please hit "reply to all" so we can
discuss as a group. The next Hazard Mitigation meeting is next Monday,
June 30 at which I'll give a brief report on anything we come up with.
These meetings are open to the public if anyone is interested in
attending.

Thanks!!

Laura
