We had a good meeting this past Tuesday. Not a whole lot of action
items left so instead of those "fancy" minutes, I'm just sending an
e-mail.
Mary will contact Angela to follow up on Magdalen College's
participation in the art show; the children's activities; and the
coordination of the town hall between the Women's Club and the Dance
Demo.
Megan indicated that Warner Connects has 3 volunteers for the library
book sale. She will follow up with Faith to make sure that they
coordinate this with the library and to see if Dudley Laufman will be
performing.
We believe that Nina has made contact with Simonds and that they are OK
with us using the school in case of bad weather.
The clown has officially retired and moved away.
The posters are done and have been distributed. (Thanks White Mountain
Gourmet Coffee - they are awesome!)
Cheryl will be placing the order for the flags this week.
Rebecca contacted Fred Moe of the Argus Champion and he will contact
Mary for the story.
Webster/Salisbury/Boscawen Grapevine inserts have been copied and
delivered.
Jim Mitchell will write a PR piece.
Cheryl will send her PR to Mary.
The Spring into Warner piece will air on Kearsarge Valley Magazine the
week of 5/12.
Mary will follow up with Ginger to see if there is anyone who has not
yet paid for the advertising.
***** NEXT MEETING - TUESDAY, MAY 13 @ 8:30 A.M. @ WHITE MOUNTAIN COFFEE
*****
Thanks for all the hard work everyone! This promises to be another
AWESOME downtown event!!!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Finally, It's Time to "Spring into Warner"
(Warner, NH) Finally! After enduring a Winter with near record
snowfall, it's finally time to welcome Spring. The snow banks have
disappeared and the birds & buds are returning to the trees. Snow
shovels have been put away, and lawn chairs & garden tools are being
pulled out of the garage. We've waited a long time for this. Finally,
it's time to "Spring into Warner".
On Saturday, May 17th, Warner is having a Spring party and you're
invited!
Warner Village businesses, artists and musicians have put together a day
full of family fun complete with music, food, ice cream, artwork, floral
exhibits, fair trade displays, dancing and face painting for the kids.
Park the car or bike and walk to everything! It's all happening along
the scenic and historic brick side-walked Main Street in the Warner
Village Business District; a wonderful stroll located between The Warner
Historical Society and The Shops at Brookside.
Planned activities include a book & plant sale, dance/massage/make-up
demonstrations, live music with The Bog People & Kathy Lowe, the world
famous Warner Historical Society Barn Sale, art exhibits, face painting,
floral arrangements, balloons, artists & artisans everywhere, and great
food! All activities occur in Warner's picturesque downtown Village
District.
Participating Village District businesses include Wingdoodle, Country
Cobwebs, New Hampshire Telephone Museum, White Mountain Gourmet Coffee,
Warner Business Association, Rowe Mountain Fair Trade, Woodsum Art
Gallery, Artisans at Brookside, MainStreet BookEnds, The Maples Inn,
Therapeutique and All Signs.
Join us all day Saturday, May 17th starting at 9 am for a wonderful day
to enjoy the beautiful weather and "Spring into Warner". Something
Wonderful is Happening in Warner! Free Parking Everyday.
